Tax consultants, auditors and lawyers are exposed to an increased liability risk due to the increasingly complex consulting environment.
\nThey must expect to be exposed to claims for damages under civil law, as attempts are often made to shift responsibility onto the consultant and hold them harmless. <\/p>\n

The exoneration strategy of many clients also means that tax consultants and auditors in particular are increasingly coming under the scrutiny of the investigating authorities.
\nRecourse proceedings, with or without a criminal overhang, can threaten their very existence. <\/p>\n

As advisors to advisors, we have been representing tax advisors, auditors and lawyers in professional and recourse disputes for decades.<\/p>\n
